If You Are Experiencing Trouble or Sadness


1. Remember that God is there in the darkness with you.

2. Believe that God is working.

3. Listen to what He tells you.

4. "Trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey."

5. Remember that all things work together for good when we love God and live as He directs.

6. Take these positive steps: affirm God's presence, get to know Him, trust Him personally and live in the present.

7. When you are down, let the Lord lift you up.

Happiness is something we create in our mind
It's not something you search for and seldom find
It's just waking up and beginning the day
By counting our blessings and kneeling to pray
It's giving up thoughts that breed discontent
And accepting what comes as a "gift heaven-sent"
It's giving up wishing for things we have not
And making the best of whatever we've got
It's knowing that life is determined for us
And pursuing the tasks -- without fret, fume or fuss
For it's by completing what God gives us to do
That we find real contentment and happiness too

Every day, think a good day, plan a good day, pray a good day and make it a good day! And you will be able to say with the psalmist, "Every day will I bless thee" (Psalm 145:2).

You have a choice every day. You choose every morning whether you will be depressed and miserable or whether you will be happy.
